its a form of emergency power, that serves the brakes if the engine is lost, if you have a car… get it, turn it to on, DONT start it… put the brake on and pull it into drive, you will hear the buzz… it makes vacuum pressure so the brakes will work w/o the engine
actually about the only thing that is the same is the displacement the truck is a n/a non turbo mechanical fuel pump the bus is direct injected and has a turbo so ya…

which engine does the ford have? Is that the 6.5 liter? I forget who made that engine, International?
