sure it would. It would just be a 17:1 high compression engine that would have to run on very high octane fuel lol

That smoke switch looks like it works AWESOME….so is it literally “custom” like for you or custom for the 6.0L? I have an 07 6.0 that i would like to do that with! Any companies that you know of that has a “kit” for a smoke switch?

I have always heard the opposite. I always read the 2003 to 2005 were the worst for it. I know the 2006 had the least warranty claims of all the fords that year.

theres no air restriction cause u just turn up the boost to get more air. a carb mixes fuel and air. no powerstroke has a carb. no diesel has a carb for that matter. the fuel needs to be highly pressurized.

Yep. I know plenty about diesels. I drive a ’99 f350 7.3 and a ’81 jetta diesel. Fun stuff. Its always good to know about different kinds of cars. Its weird looking at the engine of the jetta. The intake is just a hole with an air filter going straight to the cylinder head with no restriction.

what exact kind of SCT tuner is on that truck? and on that takeoff down the road, was that 1st gear or drive? i have an 05 f250 powerstroke 6.0, and a hypertech programer, but it doesent smoke very much.

stock for stock is there a difference in sound when comparing a 03-04 6.0 to an 05-07 6.0, i no they changed the ecu for like 10 more lb/ft of tq but do they sound any different?

  8. ZEG8704 says:

Which diesel-fuel do you use? Is it from 100 % rawoil or bio-diesel?

  9. Customdetailers says:

No wonder the world is polluted!…. I LOVE IT hahaha that is one SICK truck.

  10. ScrapinAintEZ says:

So what kind of tune are you running?i got a 05 with 125 tune from eric, SnB intake, boost tube and cfm intake elbow with 4 in downpipe to 5 out and i’m not getting much smoke out of it. though i know i need new injectors soon.

  12. ShaneMSnyder says:

The turbos are different. Still variable but the newer ones have a couple more veins/blades whatever. That quiets down the turbo a bit when straight piped.

has your fuckin 6.0 been in the shop 15 times since you’ve made this video you dumb fuckin prik? get a real truck

  14. MrFordman881 says:

@Dillion5224 its an 03, its a fuckin 7.3 (the best ford made)

  15. FFBrody133 says:

At MrFordman881… they also made the 6.0 in 2003.

  16. jrdrg911 says:

I agree with you on this, I have the Edge juice w/ attitude monitor on my 07 6.0 which is on the fly settings, which doesnt completely flash the transmission settings when it changes tunes. SCT will soon be a part of my PSD.

Id rather push my ford than drive a chevy

  18. ZEG8704 says:

    Questions:

    1. Which diesel-fuel do you use, is it from 100 % raw oil or is it biodiesel?

    2. Why does it stop smoking so much in 0:18 – 0:19?

  19. footballrob34 says:

    @MrFordman881 its a 6.0

  20. davidt6789 says:

Idk why people are argueing over what size motors it has. If you think u know everything and cant even tell which motor this truck has just based on the sound u dont know shit abouty for diesels.

  21. shepkimberly says:

    question #2 he let off

  22. ZEG8704 says:

Aha! Ok, I just thought that when the engine is on low revs and acceleration it smokes very much but in high revs it not smokes so much?

  23. bravozza says:

    wow, it’s euro 3?

  24. allclear241 says:

The smoke is unburnt fuel in the form of carbon. This truck is “chipped” meaning that there is an external computer that manually over-rides the stock ECU’s fuel settings allowing the user to control how much fuel is put into the engine. More fuel=more power. It smokes less at higher revs because the engine is more readily able to burn the fuel.
