There are two fuel ports because these trucks usually work hard for long periods of time, therefore this was made so you don’t need to stop for gas, just use that switch and change tank.

why does need to be plug in?
that song on stereo i like

Am sorry but why the hell do these American cars bong everytime you open the door or put the key in the ignition. Bloody annoying.

  4. stallard17r says:

it keeps the block warm so that it will start easier in the cold

  5. averatec6 says:

what do u mean by ‘block’?

  6. stallard17r says:

    the engine block

  7. Goldenrod636 says:

These older trucks are really nice to have. I like the style of it and I really enjoy the way the rear doors look.

Ot of curiosity, what do you have it plug into I must ask, and what is it doing?

  8. 91CTD says:

Its a block heater, theres an element in the side of the engine block that heats up the oil and the coolant so it starts nice and easy to and gets heat faster, which diesels have a problem doing both when its very cold.

basicly makes it easier to start in the cold

  9. 91CTD says:

    why not? lol

it has the dual tank option.

  10. 91CTD says:

this one does that to let you know you have to wait for the glowplugs to cycle before starting.

most cars do it to let you know a door is open, or the trunk.

  11. 91CTD says:

its a block heater to heat up the oil and coolant so the diesel starts up easier, all diesels have them.

96′ F-250 7.3 Diesel here, you got a nicer radio then I do, lol and its good to see that you don’t have to use ehter to start up like I do.

FYI its bad to grab the steering wheel to get into the truck, it will mess up the steering column and you will have to have it rebuilt. its happened to me twice
