@eddietim No, it has 295 more hp, which is FAR from triple. 295hp won’t help a 6000-8000lb pick up beat a turboed honda that weights not even close to a ton.
@stephen103190
if you combine torque/hp ratio its about tripple. and it has 6x’s the amount of torque. that’s wayy more than enough to push a twin turbo diesel truck
let me break it down.
300 more hp
1500 more torque
double the turbo (twin turbo)
almost tripple the wieght
vs a gutted turbo civic.
you cannot underestimate a Honda. i ran 12.37 @111mph in my 95 hatch 4CYL all motor w/ tune i//h/e and slicks. thats it. know any domestic that can do that?
@eddietim Uh, yes, I have seen a Ram actually do that LOL…and hit under 10. I don’t think you understand how much of a weight difference there is. You’re only covering the hp and torque ratio..you’re forgetting a HUGE factor..weight. At the end of the day, it’s still rice
@stephen103190
@ktm69420
haha muscle head. using weight as an excuse. if weight is such a “huge factor” why would anyone build it in the first place and who do you expect to race a fuckin ice cream truck?? you just can except an demostic losing to a import or shall i say “rice”. remember the Honda is 1.6 turbo against a 5.9 twin turbo. ur probably gonna say “the truck was too heavy” and so is your head
@ktm69420
please calculate the ratings for me . but you cant compare the weight of the 2 cars. thats not how it works. i sure already know that. and im pretty sure that he launched it on 4wd he’s not a dumb ass.
twin turbo diesel truck 5000lbs with 900hp and 1,800 tq.
vs
2200lbs 92-95 civic 605hp and 380 tq
if 1800 tq is not enough to pull 5k
do you think 380tq is enough to pull 2.2k?
the thing that’s missing in the dodge is vtec. the civic is shifting @10k rpm while the truck is shifting @6k
@eddietim Way to bring back a dead issue. Obviously you failed English class due to your poor grammar and sentence structure. Your poor attempts at insulting me are bouncing right off me and falling on the ground, my friend. There is a big weight difference, is there not? Simply because the engine is bigger along with an extra turbo, does not mean outside influences don’t play a factor. Go back to school, definitely take English and Physics.
@stephen103190
Mr Stephen, you need to stick to grading papers and away from cars,i cant believe u spent 90% insulting when you could be changing ur babies diapers old farts these days can keep focus
YES Mr. Stephen,there is a big weight issue, but when you start building its a different thing? that truck is heavily modded.stock civic b16 0-60 in 7.5 sec,stock dodge Cummins turbo diesel 0-60 5.7 sec
actually nvm, ur head head is soo thick its pointless.
@eddietim You sound like the biggest tool, you make yourself look so god damn dumb. Where do babies diapers come into the story? Wow. It’s pointles arguing with you, you’re so ignorant it insults every human being to walk this earth. Maybe the conflict is that your head is too thin from the norm. Go take physics.
@eddietim old man lol. Far from that. Prolly younger than you and much smarter. But, anyways, I’ll let you get the last word since it seems that you must get the last word..so go ahead and post again, I’ll let you win the interwebz, congrats, I hope it makes you sleep well at night. BTW, your mother should have swallowed you.
propane who the hell uses propane buy a real fuel pump u wont need that bottled shit 😛 but goood job 8000lbs vs what ever the fuck a civic comes in at good job
I didn’t know Turbonetics made a T04r I thought that was Garrett and HKS. And that’s a single turbo. I doubt you’re running a twin turbo on a 4-cylinder inline block. You don’t have two manifolds to run a “twin” setup.
RPD diesel11.33 second pass
that honda LOOKS LIKE SHIT. OH HAIL CUMMINS!
@DRFTBling711 ITS A CUMMINS. BEST IN AMERICA SINCE 1915.
@stephen103190
yes i weights more than the civic but has like triple the horse power.
@eddietim No, it has 295 more hp, which is FAR from triple. 295hp won’t help a 6000-8000lb pick up beat a turboed honda that weights not even close to a ton.
Honda power
but its a civic…
That was good stuff.. I loved the crowd reaction!!

Awsome race ! It is cool to see a big heavy truck run so good.
V-TECH POWER!!!
@eddietim did you think to ever look at power to weight ratings?… have that dodge launch in 4 wheel and it will murder the honda over and over.
@stephen103190

honda for the win!

Now hook a 20,000lb trailer behind both and run them again…..hahahaha nice kill civic
