the other day i was passing through a friends neighbor good and i saw an old 1960’s or 70’s dodge pickup truck with a crew cab short bed i didn’t even know dodge made them too.
@MikeyLikesNike alot of times especially 60’s and earlier they didnt come from the factory that way, usually the manufacturer sold them and if you wanted the option they contracted it to an indipendent company. same with 4×4’s. idk about dodge and chevy but i know for a fact ford did. they didnt really start making them from the factory until this bodystyle which looks to be a 67-72 and im not so sure they came from the factory like that even then

@mornin151 4×4 was the same too it was contracted to and outside company i believe something like marmon was the name i might be wrong dont quote me, but 4 doors and 4×4’s werent madee in factories until the mid to late 70’s. not to say they dont exist but the factory itsel;f didnt build them
@bigbadbronco86 i feel like the biggest dumb ass ever asking is it a 305 or 350… i watched a ton of pulling vids and i prlly ment to comment that on another post… what does it have for a motor?
@mornin151 i think the guy said it was a 6.1 powerstroke, you can tell by the way it sounds like its crushing rocks. the powerstroke was the ford diesel cummins was the dodge diesel and duramax is the GM diesel. in my opinion duramax is the best and it doesnt sound like a frieght train
@bigbadbronco86 i know about all them, but i dont think they ever made a 6.1… they had a 9.6 idi, then it wasa 7.3 idi then it was a 7.3 did, and then the 7.3 powerstroke with the turbo, then it was the 6.0 powerstroke, then its the 6.4 dual turbo or what ever, and then now they are comming out with a 6.7 with 3 turbos that feed in to one… im not sure what they called it…
@bigbadbronco86 no, i wasnt tryin to be mean, out of the states they make a diesel ford ranger! thats why i didnt know if they made a 6.1… sorry if pushed your buttons, i didnt mean to…
that isnt a real crew cab, that rear door is way too big!!! nice try partner. That truck needs a stroked blown gasser not a jokestroke diesel. I do like that your beating the hell out of it, thats what those old crews are supposed to do.
ford would of made the best truck with a cummins instead of the powerjoke! lol and 2 lapalazy your gasser would be in the dust 2 any cummins or durramax when set right these diesals can hit 10sec in quarter mile in a full size truck show me a gasser that can do that and still b able 2 drive it down the street legally getting close to 20mpg so i hav to say fuck your gas guzzlers
do you have any other vids of this truck? i live in Rexburg and used to see this truck all the time, it was at a dyno day in idaho falls a few years back at custom auto. this is a clean truck.
y didnt ford make more of these cuz old school crew cab trucks are bad ass
Ya I agree. These trucks were sweet!

@mornin151 well i think everyone is entitled to hit a wrong key from time to time wouldnt you say?
@mornin151 lemme give you a test then what are the cubic inch sizes of those motors? and i will count off for googling lol

@mornin151 you didnt push buttons man but you said you knew all about them thats all no biggie i was just mucking around man
It sounds just like a 6.0 powerstroke to me. I Know, I own one. Listen at 0:11
Ok my dumb, It is a 6.0 Powerstroke. I must have gotten confused somehow. I probably got confused because Wayne put a 5.9 Cummins in an Excursion…
that;s a sharp truck sounds good to.
now thats somthing id love to have… a cummins excursion..
I’m not a Ford guy but that is one Tough truck!! Nice Work!
some people are brand loyal. and like a challange
should have put a 7.3 in it 6.0s heads go
thats a nasty 6.0! i want one.
