how did the engine mounts line up?

  13. dealwithit00000 August 2, 2010 at 8:45 pm #

@bassaddict1231 i had to make new mounts, but they are just plates welded to the insides of the frame with gussets below. used the benz motor mounts too.

    is this mechanical fuel injection

  15. dealwithit00000 August 25, 2010 at 12:54 am #

@iplayhaloandstuff94 yes, its all old school mechanical injection. it is idi tho, but thats just the name of the game with older stuff. direct injection would be way better πŸ˜€

damn, wish i could convert my b2600i… i’m sure that’s a good engine you have there. i’ve driven a dodge sprinter and it’s diesel engine is fucking bad ass. i don’t know the specs, but i know the engine and drive train are perfect when properly maintained. dodge gave it the perfect name, cuz it does exactly what the name says… it sprints.

What all did you do & what engine & tranny combination are you using? I have a B2600i that’ll make a nice project. The original engine sucks & has n
