stock engine and a scania turbo HOOLLYYY shit pretty easy way to make more power and ive never seen a diesel have revs that high i was sure there were some heavy mods to the engine to allow it to rev high enough and not shake itself apart very cool stuff but as i say a diesel is a diesel and i dont like em awsome driving skills

@citydriver Good one ๐Ÿ˜‰ I can’t think of any counter comment in English but “Hehkutus on pieni hiljainen hetki Bensiiniauton omistajalle” try to google translate that! ๐Ÿ˜€

@BlackSmokeTube good thing i have finish friends then huh?? hihi diesel has its obvias advantage as your car is a perfect example of upgrade to big turbo and upgrade diesel pump and thats it the engines already come with forged internals and strong blocks where a gas engine youd need to spend many hours and lots of money to get equaly as strong lots of high power gas engines started out as diesel engines where they used a diesel block and gas heads

Very nice job with this car! I’m currently building and OM606, ’98, HX40, 7mm elements and electronic controls here in the US.

I want to switch to a manual transmission. What flywheel did you use? Did you make the adapter plate for the Tremec?

    Thanks!

What’s the engine from? I couldn’t understand, I hear something like ML but I’m not quite sure.. I really like what he said in the end, mercedeses are underestimated as a sports cars, so the world have to be convinced in the opposite ;] Keep up the good work!

  20. BlackSmokeTube November 7, 2010 at 10:17 pm #

@ML63AMG It is a OM606 from a w211 Mercedes. Thanks we try to!

  21. jhbonarius November 8, 2010 at 1:01 pm #

Hahaha, it like 20 cars in one. very nice!

  22. 5Gears3Pedals1Line November 9, 2010 at 6:39 am #

How much boost is this running? Psi? You are a very good driver!

  23. ML63AMG November 9, 2010 at 8:43 pm #

@BlackSmokeTube Isn’t It from a W210? I looked it up the exact name I thik is OM606A.. W211 is with V6 OM642, and on the video I’m quite sure I saw a straight six ๐Ÿ™‚ Incredible job dough, that’s like 150% increase in power and torque form a stock engine!.. Mercedes definitely know how to build a strong engine.. I have 190D dayli driver, and 190E waiting for a V8 conversion, but after this video I might put the V8 on hold and go for OM606 in the 190D..

@ML63AMG Of course sorry must have been tired when i wrote that ๐Ÿ˜‰
