Here’s some video of the Challenger Tanks at Bovington Tank Museum putting on a great display for the crowd.i gotta say this is the best sounding tank for sure. Second-generation Hydrogas suspension and hydraulic track tensioner are fitted. The maximum speed by road is 59km/h and 40km/h cross country. is this tank better than the american tank?

  20. CJCourage November 2, 2010 at 9:31 pm #

@Pinesol23 – It depends on how you look at it, after all one cannot simply say that one tank is better than the other (only jumped-up imbeciles do that).

Anyway, both tanks have their own advantages over the other. The Challenger 2 has a remarkable service record, with only one tank being destroyed and a couple others being slightly damaged, however the M1 Abrams has seen a lot more combat than the Challenger 2…

  21. CJCourage November 2, 2010 at 9:32 pm #

@Pinesol23 – …I could bore you with statistics, but if you want to know which tank would win in 1.vs.1 battle, I would say that the Challenger 2 would pull through (but who knows?!). But if you’re talking about full-scale tank warfare, the M1 would easily win due to the sheer numbers in that they’ve been produced.

Do some research, and decide for yourself =) Hope this helps

@CJCourage Yeah, I think the Challenger 2 can take more abuse, judging by reports from Iraq.
