Have you considered getting a hybrid turbo set up to change spool up rate.
Also it probably wouldn’t hurt to run a programable boost controller to be able to set the ramp rate.
Take a look at the E-BOOST2 from turbosmart. One of the best boost controllers I know of. Just google it. They will ship to the US.
are they still gonna make 6.6’s in addition to the 4.5L
they will not be making the 4.5L Diesel because they needed to cut projects in order to save money. It was either the 4.5L Duramax or the Volt which they have already invested too much money in to scrap the car.
i wish they would come out with the motor it would put them even more over the edge of the competition
its coming out next year…it is suppose to get around 29mpg
they are only putting the in the 1500s suburbans and the H2s the 6.6 will most likely stay in the 2500 and 3500s

diesel engines in 1500s are a great idea. more torque, more hauling power in a small pickup is always good and if you can get better fuel economy with it was well there ya go. hell, chip it, stack it, go to town haha

If GM would have been able to continue on with this engine truck sales would have sky rocketed. Decent HP + decent MPG = sales. Would have probably been good in the Hummers too.
