cool video
Thank you for the informative and great video . Good song choice.
i had to replace a head gasket on mine after 300K and when the valves started tapping i adjusted mine to .009 for the intake and .012 for the exhaust and now it wants to burn the tires
does anyone think a 1988 mack truck turbo would be able to customly fit on this truck?
I want to know where you are getting your info on your valve lash adjustments because in my shop it specifies .010 for intake and .012 for exaust.
The Chrysler factory service manual and Cummins both state that the engine requires valve lash settings of 0.010 intake and 0.020 exhaust. I am afraid your shop is dead wrong and you are setting the valves too tight.
well the service manual i am reading says the factory settings for 24v are .010intake and .012 exaust and for the 12v it is .010 intake and .020 exaust.
what were they adjusting?
sorry dude he is wright with his specs .010 intake and 0.20 exhaust the min for intake is .006 and the max is .015 exhaust min .015 and the max .030 i like to adjust them at .009 and .018 exhaust . these specs are from all data and i also looked them up in dodge manual this is for the 24 valve engine…..
