  5. millertimechevy73 August 23, 2009 at 6:11 pm #

I love it when people think that a truck wont beat a car. lol especially diesel!!!!! haha

i hate duramax, but i’ll give credit where credits due, that trucks a beast. i’ll stick with my cummins still though. mines a work in progress, smarty, fass 150, 4″ mbrp exhaust to 6″ mitre cut stacks. not bad for a freshman in college. i wanna put bigger injectors or a bigger turbo, but im waitin for my tranny to go out so i can put a 6 speed in it. vids on my profile if you wanna check it out

It wasn’t even close! That diesel Godzilla-stomped the Mustang. Duramax, Cummins, whatever… Let’s roll some coal!

  10. vettehater November 6, 2009 at 7:15 pm #

im a cobra freak and i too know not to give a diesel truck that many lengths…gotta be smarter when it comes to diesel.

  11. fballer007 November 22, 2009 at 11:04 pm #

    at a 40 roll cobra would win…

  12. THEPERRYCOOPER December 28, 2009 at 4:32 pm #

that fucking diesel is a beast …i heard at the drag strip they launsh in 4 high {which is in four wheel drive} then once there out about 60 ft disinguage the 4 wheel drive and power on on just the rear wheels

  13. bigbob3288 January 27, 2010 at 4:30 pm #

fballer i would take that 40 MPH roll against that cobra. for a G knowin ill come out on top. sooooo many ppl underestimate diesels and there potential from a dead stop or a roll

  14. Duff11993 February 1, 2010 at 4:43 am #

fucking let that turbo build up while your sitting there at the starting line

  15. flyinbrian525 February 10, 2010 at 6:11 pm #

thats what u get when u buy a piece of shit ford…. better pack it up and head home so u can sell that junk on craigslist and go buy yourself a dodge truck DIESEL!!!!!!!

  16. 78mlp February 17, 2010 at 3:15 am #

the 4 wheel drive stays in for the whole run. if you disengage it at the 60 foot mark its just going to spin all the way down

  17. cobra2004t February 27, 2010 at 9:13 pm #

im nt given u a inch head up dnt care what it is n 4 money u no he ant slow nice race

  18. jimenezjse March 16, 2010 at 3:39 pm #

that cobra was most likely stock and thats why it killed it so bad… dont get me wrong i have a 24v cummins and im a fan of a cobra but it the cobra had wither a better supercharger than the easton of a turbo it would of left the dodge in the dust.. Its just a matter of physics… less weight= faster

  19. glasseater90 March 20, 2010 at 4:22 pm #

@jimenezjse really? so lets say a car weighs 3k and a truck weighs 6k but the truck makes 1400hp but the car makes 400hp… you’re still saying the car will win? a 12v cummins can make over 1000hp on a completely stock bottom end

  20. glasseater90 March 20, 2010 at 4:23 pm #

@THEPERRYCOOPER completely untrue…. that guy from pinks is a f*cktard lol and yes i know that’s where you heard that 😉 EVEYRONE who races in 4×4 keeps it engaged the whole time, because of the way the 4wd system works it won’t allow itself to be disengaged until there’s no power being applied to the transfer case… the 4wd systems are stout enough to be run in 4wd at 150+mph

  21. gibsonlespaul2 April 22, 2010 at 2:39 am #

Now, Thats the Cobra’s drivers fault for giving a diesel that much length….
Diesel = Torque = Fast takeoff = Win.

Try racing at nose to nose.

  22. bighooksdaddy85 May 29, 2010 at 10:05 pm #

@gibsonlespaul2 can do nose to nose

  23. GarrettKeetley June 5, 2010 at 1:13 am #

@vermt001 actually from the factory, diesels are slow as balls, well, atleast the cars are, you almost have to chip them

  24. GigaMinion August 13, 2010 at 9:15 am #

    @GarrettKeetley

Imagine what the new 2011 duramax and the new 400hp 2011 powerstroke are going to be like. They both already have more than enough torque to move them with great throttle response, but now they have the hp to keep going.

  25. w2504x4 August 15, 2010 at 5:27 am #

Great you have 400 horse’s my 165hp pulled 31k lbs and got 12.5 mpg doing it true at 55 mph. Your 400 horses cant get 12.5mpg empty, so you get 4.5 mpg pulling a heavy load 80 mph and some idiot pulls out in front of you, whats gonna stop ya?? Oh and that 165hp get 28mpg empty sitting on 33’s with 4.10 gears. Also mine has never and I say never been in the shop for a “computer problem” I mean the new ones are nice I agree but I’m not sure their better.
