Diesel truck drags By Diesel Performance Truck on September 12, 2010 in Some highlights from the 2006 Annual August Blackouts, a diesel race day put on by NADP in Edmonton Alberta, includes: big rig, quads, sleds and some fast diesel pick ups.
The big black Ford Crew Cab in that video sure launches hard out of the hole! I bet he could surprise a few serious street racers!
that was a gay race witth the peterbilt and the frieghtliner the frieghtliner was stock and the peterbilt had everything done to it
That GREEN(not black) ATS Ford has a 2,000 ft-lb of torque cummins 5.9 in it.
Lovin the trucks. Deisel is the way forward.
Can the truck behind racing see anything throught he black smoke?
I was at this race. It was awsome. That green one had something broken and was still racing i think.
10’s in a diesel…whats up now!!!
nice video
when a diesel, has a air leak in the lines of fuel.. will that burn the pump up
ring ring ding ding
I would say yes, it could.
9.97 is current record
if the green for was broken… well i don’t think so because someone fixed it with a CUMMINS
“9.97 is current record” For a diesel? I dont think so.
you’re right, that can’t be the record, because Banks has a video of them running 8.21
nice video
Which track is this in Edmonton? I want to come for 2008
Castrol raceway, formerly Bud Park, in Nisku.
Its peculiar to see a lowrider style of truck doin the diesel drags. Bio diesel the only alternative fuel source that makes sense….so far
low rider style trucks don’t have the proper weight transfer characteristics for drag racing. Cool video – gotta love Tool!
I came to the drag races in 2007 in edmonton 😀
