Is it possible to flush out diesel fuel in a gasoline lawn mower engine without buying a new lawn mower?

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

My son is in the Marines. While loading some equipment onto a ship, something popped and he got about 2 1/2 gallons of Diesel Fuel on his cammies. Between the pants and blouse, each set costs him abut , and he would like to try to save them. I’ve done a lot of laundry in my day, but have never had to deal with this. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can pass on to him? Thanks everyone.

I have a bottle of Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement with cetane boost, and I’m wondering what’s in it. Specifically, what’s in it that supposedly prevents diesel fuel from gelling?

My husband got diesel fuel on some of his clothes and then washed them and now, not only do the clothes still smell like diesel but, now, so does my washing machine. Can anyone suggest a way to get the smell out of my machine and the clothes?

All of a sudden, am having trouble starting my ‘94 F-250 Diesel. Engine cranks, but it won’t fire. I’ve verified that fuel is getting pumped to the fuel filter/water separator, which I’ve drained (it’s new, so I don’t see how it can otherwise be clogged.) How/where else can I check for a problem beyond the fuel/water separator?

Kerosene at the local big box store is around /gal while diesel fuel is under /gal.
I know that diesel and kero are very close to each other but do not know if diesel is safe to use.
Please site sources and/or experience.

I know it will burn diesel, but is it safe?
Only thing manual says is "Do not use gasoline", for reasons obvious to me.

I have an old car that doesn’t run that has about 10 gallons of 3 or 4 year old diesel fuel. I understand that diesel fuel has a lower shelf life than regular gasoline fuel and I am thinking that my car isn’t working because the diesel fuel has expired. How do I dispose of that fuel without having to pay anything?
Since the car is dead I have no means by transporting this fuel to some sort of collection site.

My father wanted to get a good kill on the grass in our apple orchard, so he mixed 1 gallon of dieself fuel with the usual amount of RoundUp. Now our apples are turning a bright red and dropping, even those we didn’t use a thinning spray on. It this the result of the diesel fuel? If so, how long of an effect will the diesel fuel have on the trees? What about our crop next year? Will the apples that survive be unedible?

I am writing a story and need to know what will happen to diesel fuel when it stays gelled for a long time. Say 100000 gallons stored in -40 weather for 5 years. Then heated back up to liquefy the diesel again. Would the fuel still be good to use? Would we have to filter it first before we should use it?
