In thisvideo I give a full in depth review and tour on a 2005 ford f250 powerstroke. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this truck while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds. A thorough review of this truck designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
@xvrhernandez349 it is a 2 stroke instead of 4
@xvrhernandez349 powerstroke is just the name ford gives to their diesel engines. The power stroke in general is the 3rd stroke of a 4 stroke engine, where the fuel is ignited and the piston is pushed down.
@NTCM13 TRUE The due last long and have relaiability above the rest, but DAMN are they slow and not very fun to drive
probably just the sensor or something…. kinda embarassing
Id love that truck even more if it was an FX4
hahaha good luck fixing the transmisson in about 30,000 miles XD
very good truck
i love Fords…but the Powerstroke is a disgrace to Fords? name….just my opinion
@runeshop
Don’t
Over
Drive
Gutless
Engines
@strumem90 good one
This was pretty informative. Don’t know if you should have been so relaxed about the engine light. Just a sensor sounds like it doesn’t really matter if they show up. I have one of these, in Australia. We have to pay a lot for them. Mine was put together in the Brazil factory which means it was constructed for export rh drive. What do you pay for them in US now? a new one here is about $150K. I would rather ride in this than a Toyota any day.
@dfencerocks Yeah they are 2 stroke mate
@xvrhernandez349
The 6 stroke engine ( which is what I think it is, could be 8 I don’t know. I don’t know anything about trucks.)
But it means just the cylinder’s pump diesel through faster and harder, which also sounds very dirty.
@piratemtc i think your right
@ochrered $150,000 dollars for a 2005 Ford f-250 SD Powerstroke Diesel?
Buying this truck which would have to be used seeing its a 2005. so with 75,000 miles on it you could get about $25,000-$31,000 American dollars
@strumem90
BULL. I love a Ford. But I think everyone knows that a Cummins engine is one of the strongest out there. I even had a Chevy guy admit that to me. I’m not dissing a Ford. Don’t get me wrong. BUT. I’ve seen COUNTLESS Fords get outrun by a Dodge.
@Jewlzz2010 but see i am not talking about racing…I dont care about racing a diesel truck, if you do, buy a half ton ..lol I am talking towing power, you know, what there built for thx
@strumem90
Uhm. How was I talking about racing? Did I say something about racing? I saw a Dodge 3500 hauling something that an 18 wheeler should be hauling. If I’m not mistaking, which I may be because I am NOT some kind of mechanic, but the ENGINE helps with hauling. Which would backup my statement about the Cummins being on of the strongest out there. So, you, sir, are welcome.
@strumem90
My mistake. I was talking about racing at one point. Lol. My bad, dude 😉
It’s great selling a truck with the check engine light on
@ochrered
quick question do you have the non us spec ford F-100 with the cummins or small powerstroke or a full blown f-250 or f-350 with the 6.0 powerstroke?
white smoke after start up
@wevor4tard It is a 6.0L Power Stroke that was put in the Super Duty’s from ’03 to ’07
@RCismything174 Yeah and a Lariat.
that is a beautiful truck
